Plebmarkt is the working title for the front page of paywithbitcoin.com offering a permissioned P2P marketplace. This fulfills a key project objective: to catalyse stronger more resilient local communities and decentralise essential supply chains.
Imagine a mobile app that feels a little bit like instagram, but with thumbnail images of items for sale locally. Price and distance is overlayed on each thumbnail.
- Products are ordered from top-left to bottom right based on geographic proximity to the user, based on:
- GPS location (if permissioned by user)
- or IP reverse Geolocation (as a falllback).
- As the user scrolls down the grid of thumbnails, they see items further and further away from their location.
- Options to change sort order, and filter by product category.
- Buyers/Sellers identified by Pubky Ed25519 key (volatile name/nym/avatar)
- Users able to log-in to persistent session with:
- Sellers and buyers able to send a signed ‘Thanks for the trade’ token to each other.
